Distress Inks on tag



Hi everyone,

this is a tag I made using Tim Holtz Distress Inks - tattered rose, weathered wood and tumbled glass.

The bird is one of Tim Holtz's beautiful stamps. I mucked up the stamping of the bird, so I stamped on a paper bag that just happened to be on my desk. I cut it out and stuck it on - I really like it!! some of my best discoveries are by making mistakes!

I inked up the tag with the inks and then 'water stamped' over it to give the watery swirly effect.

I am entering this into two challenges

    Very pretty. I sometimes find that the "mistakes" often turn out better, but I just don't admit the mistake!!! LOL!!

    Jolanda, this is STUNNING! The way you inked the sky is amazing-- it's like a perfect watercolor look, and the imagery is perfect. You used those Distress Inks masterfully, my dear!
