Hi, Everyone!
Hope you are having a good Saturday!
Here I have used Raining Hearts Tilda in some nice bright colours. there's lots of bling going on on this card - some nice pearls and lots of pearl dots and glitter on the flowers.
The red flowers are die cuts from a cuttlebug die and the oval background is a Nellie Snellen die.
The smaller flowers are from a punch and made in the same way as the larger red ones.
I also did some faux stitching with a white glaze pen around the edges of the backing papers.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Simply Magnolia - Bling and Bows
Totally Tilda - Die cuts and punches
Just Magnolia - anything goes with a bit of stitching
Simon Says - anything goes

Thanks very much for visiting :)

Another pretty easel card

Hi everyone, hope you're having a nice Sunday. I've had a lot of fun making this card! I'm really pleased with the result - maybe I should send it to myself! lol!

I stamped the girl and coloured her in with Distress Inks and then cut her out using an outside of the die technique - which is the challenge on the Little Miss Muffet blog.
I also decided to follow the sketch on the digi doodle shop challenge blog - I had to turn the image around to make it fit though

Frosted Designs are having a colouring challenge this week.

Delightful Sketches want to see some stitching.

Crafts and me and Fashionable Stamping both have anything goes challenges.
and so do addicted to stamps

Thanks for looking

Strawberry Shortcake and Molly Blooms Stamped card

Hi everyone, I hope you are having a good weekend, the weather here is a bit disappointing and grey :( Hopefully it will be much better tomorrow (fingers crossed!!) lol

I have a pretty card to show you today

The stamped images are coloured with Distress Inks of various shades of brown.

The inside of the card is also decorated with some lovely vintage papers I bought in Holland when I was last there. I stitched round the edges of the papers to give a little bit of extra texture.

To finish off I added some gold liquid pearls to the cake icing!

It's the first time I have attempted a monochromatic card - I really like the effect.

I am entering this card into the Saturday Challenge - monochrome and the Stampman Challenge blog, which wants to see some stitching and also Simon Says Stamp - anything goes.

Have a great evening

Hi Everyone!,

Our Vintage Affair have a June sketch challenge going on with the subject of grandparents.

This LO is my take on the sketch, I titled it Oma (which is Dutch for Grandmother)

I used free papers from Simply Homemade magazine; I thought they matched the colours in my photograph beautifully (very 70's colours!! lol)

I am the girl in brown and my sister is the one in orange

Thanks for looking

Have a good evening

stampartic challenge card

This card is my first entry for a Stampartic challenge. In this challenge stitching and masking a stamped image must be used. The background lettering stamp is from Stampsmith and the house is from the Dutch houses set by Avec. (my favourite stamps). The key is a free stamp from Craft Stamper Magazine. I made the flowers, using techniques I have seen on several websites. I decided to leave the house plain white, I think it looks quite effective.
Thanks for looking.
