Together we will flourish

This week has been so cold and dreary, so I had to cheer myself up with some pretty colours on this layout of my English grandparents.

The background paper came free with a magazine and I made myself use it! I have a problem using pretty paper - because when its gone its gone. I am a bit of a hoarder. I screwed up the paper and distressed it with Ranger's old paper ink.
I stitched around the edge with my sewing machine and hand stitched the curly bits by the flower. The flower was cut out using a cuttlebug doodle die. The other dies are from nestabilities and the leaves under the flower are Marianne design dies (this range is beautiful and a good price too).
I am entering this layout into four challenges:

Cuttlebug challenges - Stitch it #71

Out of the hat - the criteria for this one butterfly, buttons & bows and 4 word title.
