Scrapbeginnings Mini Album April Lesson

S This is my page for the Home mini album.

April's lesson was to make a page featuring your dining room. My favourite part of the room is the dresser displaying my collection of blue and white crockery.

Just today I bought another plate (I don't know where I'm going to put it, there's no room for it really but I needed it when I saw it!! I imagined some French Fancies on it and that did it - out came the money!!!)lol.

I'm a bit behind with my scrapbeginnings projects but I will have to catch up!

Thanks for looking

Ingeborg's Scrapbooking Competition - Prince Charming

Hi everyone,

This is the layout I made for Ingeborg's Scrapbooking Competition using her sketch.

The photo is of my daughter and her new husband - he was trying to put on her more comfortable shoes after the wedding. Unfortunately, the shoe didn't fit because her feet had swelled up so much.

I crocheted the flower myself and dyed the larger one in tea to give it a vintage colour.

Cinderella's coach is from a very cheap set of brads and ribbons etc that I bought in Holland in a discount shop called Wibra (you can find some fantastic bargains here!!)

thanks for visiting my blog and all the lovely comments you leave

Sir Stampalot May Challenge - Magical Worlds

This is my entry into the Sir Stampalot challenge - I did quite a lot of masking and stamping on this one. I am also entering this into Dutch Dare Card challenges - winged things

Our Vintage Affair - sketch challenge with pearls

I kept this layout very simple as I think this photo is so beautiful.

I stamped the border at the sides of the photo and glued pearls to the flower centres.

I'm entering this into the Our Vintage Affair challenge

Hope you like it

Grungy Mondays - a new dimension

This week on Studio L3's challenge site the challenge is to follow one of Tim's techniques (you can see it here)
For this project I used some corrugated card for the dimension and painted the edges with gold acrylic paint. I then covered it with oriental style papers and then stamped and gold embossed the flowers.
The elephant was given to me by a student from Thailand, who stayed in my house while studying here. I have finally found a use for it!!!
