birthday card for a boy

I find it very difficult to make male birthday cards because at the moment I want to put flowers and glitter on everything. I think this card is quite bright and effective - it's one of my favourite side step cards. I have decided to enter this one in the Cute Card Thursday challenge. Its my first challenge entry - I hope I do it right!

I've been busy making cards for Christmas, so I haven't added anything lately. I have a new Cuttlebug and am so addicted to using it! A friend has asked me to make some personalised cards for her as she has so little time to make them herself. Here are a couple of them:
