I don't normally make atcs but thought I would have a go.
I stamped some clouds on the background, gold embossed them and coloured them in with with a white glaze gel pen. The kimono was stamped onto glossy photo paper and coloured in with gel pens.
I saw that SSSS are having a steampunk challenge this week - well that is a challenge for me! I hope this is steampunk enough!!!
I've had this stamp of the singing lady for some time and have hardly used it - every time I try the image ends up in the bin - but this time I think I've cracked it!! lol I thought this lady might need a bit of help with her singing - must be very tiring so I added a clockwork key to her back. Behind her are some cogs that turn to give her energy...
I finished it off with a crackled flower that I've also had for some time - I knew it would come in useful one day!
I recently bought a Gorjuss stamp and it really is gorgeous!!
I made this card for my sister's birthday and as I used Marianne flower dies (Flora 2) I will enter it into Marianne Design Diva's latest challenge which is to use Marianne flowers
The image is coloured in with my new Promarkers - colouring is a real pleasure with them!
I've just bought some promarkers and am practising colouring with them. Still doesn't look as professional as in the magazines but I will keep on trying!!!
The image is from Marianne Design - little sweethearts. The flowers and butterfly are all cut using my cricut. After inking the flowers I painted them with perfect pearls powder...very glam!! he he
Hi everyone, this is card made by my daughter and me. Her boyfriend really loves computers and we thought this would be a fun card to make for him. It also doubles as a gift box.
First we made a box and lid. On the lid we put a keyboard and then attached the 'screen' to the lid side.
I made this card for my eldest son's birthday - He loves to travel, so I thought this was quite appropriate!
I used a couple of Tim Holtz stamps on this card and black embossed the images. The tag is also stamped but I don't know who made that one.
Hi everyone, hope you're having a nice Sunday. I've had a lot of fun making this card! I'm really pleased with the result - maybe I should send it to myself! lol!
I stamped the girl and coloured her in with Distress Inks and then cut her out using an outside of the die technique - which is the challenge on the Little Miss Muffet blog.
I also decided to follow the sketch on the digi doodle shop challenge blog - I had to turn the image around to make it fit though
Hi everyone, I hope you are having a good weekend, the weather here is a bit disappointing and grey :( Hopefully it will be much better tomorrow (fingers crossed!!) lol
I have a pretty card to show you today
The stamped images are coloured with Distress Inks of various shades of brown. The inside of the card is also decorated with some lovely vintage papers I bought in Holland when I was last there. I stitched round the edges of the papers to give a little bit of extra texture.
To finish off I added some gold liquid pearls to the cake icing!
It's the first time I have attempted a monochromatic card - I really like the effect.
