Swedish Girl visits Holland

I wanted to give this card a Dutch look and stamped the 'tiles' on the sides.
Behind Tilda are some Dutch houses stamps by Avec.
The cobbles and the lamp post are made by me from carved erasers.
the leafy bits behind the flowers (Kaisercraft) are from a Joy die.
Before Christmas I bought a Teresa Collins stampmaker and used it to make my own 'handmade by' stamp which is on the back. It's quite exciting to see the stamp taking shape.
I am very pleased with the way this card has turned out - hope you like it too!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Simply Magnolia - dies and/or punches and ribbon
Just Magnolia - more than 1 fold

Thanks for looking

guinea pig cake

Hi everyone, hope you're having a good Thursday!! I thought I would show you my latest cake effort!! When I asked my son what he would like for his birthday and he said a guinea pig cake; I thought oh no! I did think it would be really difficult but good old swiss rolls came to the rescue!! I slapped on a bit of icing, painted it with black food colouring and made some marzipan guinea pig food - I think it resembles the real thing a little!!! Anyway my son was over the moon when he saw it!! Not sure the real guinea pig was so impressed judging by the top photo!! lol

Thanks for visiting my blog
